Announcing Admiral - Reliable RSS Syncing!

Since the announcement that Google Reader is going to shut down on July 1, 2013, everyone who used them has been looking for alternatives. There are lots of great readers available out there that used to tie into Google Reader and some are now working to clone the Google Reader functionality. I'm working on a different approach to solving this issue and it's an approach I hope others will be interested in.

I'd like to introduce you to Admiral! Admiral is a sync only service which works to keep all your RSS feeds in sync with any reader app you decide to use. Let's admit it, not many of us used the Google Reader web interface so what we're really loosing here is a way to sync our feeds reliably across devices and apps.

Admiral seeks to solve this issue by solely focusing on syncing. We're not building a reader since there are so many great choices out there. We're working with developers of reader apps to get them on board with the project. We want to work with them to bring you a great RSS experience.

If you're an RSS user who is looking for a new sync solution since Google Reader's demise, and don't want to be tied down to any one particular reading app, head over to Admiral to get more details!

If you have any feedback at all on the project, please get in touch as we're looking to build the best service possible and that includes input from you!
